Fantastic, comfortable accommodation with all the amenities you could possibly need

A special thanks to Eileen who went out of her way to assist me as I was visiting Heathcote for a funeral. The room was spacious and very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting the Heathcote area.

Great accommodation!

We really enjoyed out stay here in one of the two bedroom units (we were in unit 13). Really modern, clean, comfortable and spacious. Everything you could want and just a 10 min walk from the centre of town. Easy check in and despite having no reception, communication was really good and everything went really smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

Great accommodation for wheelchair user - good access, large bathroom, good bed

My husband who gets around in an electric wheelchair, my elderly dad and I stayed a couple of nights this week in one of the accessible 2 bedroom units at the Heathcote Retreat Motel. The parking, ramp access and unit were all great. The unit looked a bit small from the front but was deceptively spacious. The bathroom was especially large with a fold down seat in the shower area. The beds were comfy and a good height for a wheelchair transfer. We'd happily stay there again.

Amazing

I stayed in this beautiful motel for 5 days with my small son. We arrived Tuesday and we walked into a beautiful and very clean room. It was absolutely perfect, from the very clean sheets to the attention to detail cleanliness. I went out for the day and when we went to sleep we had a small issue with our bed. I called Eileen and she was more than happy to move me to another room. Talk about good service?! The second room we moved into was just as perfect as the first room, unbelievable I say hehe. The rest of our stay was fantastic and the last day we were greeted by Allison (cleaner). We had a lovely conversation and she is extremely kind. I really want to thank everyone for their amazing customer service. They really do think about their customers over anything. Can’t wait to return in the future!

Makeover with new Owners

“My Husband won the RACV Bendigo Region competition & our first stop overnight was The Heathcote Retreat Motel. We stayed in a new 2 bedroom cabin. They are fully self contained with lounge, meals, kitchenette, 2Q Bedrooms and one bathroom. Very comfortable with everything you require for a quiet weekend away. The motel rooms have also been refurbished. There is a dial up for booking in but we had no problems.

The new owners have done a great job and we fully recommend a stop over if travelling through Heathcote.”

Relaxed and well appointed, we loved it.

Three of us stayed in a 2 bedroom unit after riding the O'Keefe rail trail. The shower was warm & spacious, the beds cosy & comfy and the kitchen well stocked with tea and coffee. We could have cooked at the Retreat , but we went to dine with friends. I'd go back & so would our friends if they ever needed a place more comfortable then home!Highly recommended.

Unexpected luxury!

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, beautifully appointed with a luxurious bathroom and all the mod cons. Just a delightful place to stay and enjoy Heathcote. Be aware there is no reception on site, but it all seems to work well by remote control. We just loved it.”

What a wonderful surprise...

On-the-road-again. We only live a few km's away but our house was so hot over New Year, we decided to treat ourselves to a night away, where we could be cool. We pass this place all the time & had seen it had been renovated but had no idea how fabulous it is! We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit. Everything was wonderful - very spacious, beautiful decor, very comfy beds and the kitchen was so well appointed with everything you would need to prepare meals. There were even lovely little jars of herbs & spices on the bench top. If you forgot your book there were magazines to read. The bathroom was very stylish and we loved the toiletries provided. Now we need to find another excuse to come back!
